My name is Amanda Owen, and I am thrilled to be your speech-language pathologist at Cedar Creek as well as for the Autism Program at Absegami. 

Throughout the academic year, we will explore various aspects of speech and language, from understanding the mechanics of speech production to improving your ability to express yourself effectively. Together, we will work on refining your articulation and fluency, increasing language skills, enhancing functional communication and social skills, building meaningful relationships with fellow peers and staff, and more. 

I believe that communication is a powerful tool that allows us to connect with others, express our thoughts and feelings, and navigate the world around us. Whether you are preparing for college, entering the workforce, or pursuing your passions, strong communication skills will open doors to endless opportunities.

In our sessions, I will create a supportive and engaging environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions and expressing yourself. I will tailor our activities and exercises to meet your individual needs and goals. Together, we will celebrate your progress and overcome any challenges that may arise.
