Cedar Creek Senior Mia McColl during her trip to Iowa while attending the Global Youth Institute, where all attendees focused on efforts to address food insecurities throughout the world. Mia was selected to participate in this amazing experience after being selected by the New Jersey Youth Institute based on her research on anti-spoilage and anti-waste practices. Once she arrived to Iowa, she then presented her research again to a table of experts ranging from CEO's of agricultural companies, world leaders, delegates from various countries, and farmers that work out in the fields who are experiencing the food problems first hand.

CCHS student, Riley Lerner, spoke this morning to our local veterans at the American Legion Post 158 ceremony for Veterans Day. Riley has been collecting donations all year to support local veterans.

National Honor Society students, along with the Egg Harbor City Police Department, Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, and Coalition for a Safer Community, spent a day of service building a playground for local Egg Harbor City residents.
