Mr. Groeber

My name is James Groeber.  I have been teaching in district since 2007.

I started my teaching career in 2004 at Millville High School where I instucted various science classes and also served as a freshman football coach and assistant basketball coach.   While at Millville, I had the pleasure of coaching MLB Rookie of the Year, AL MVP, & All Star Mike Trout.

In 2007 I was hired as an assistant football coach at Oakcrest High School and was later hired at the district's Alternative Program to teach special education and science.  While at Oakcrest, I also served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the football team.  In my final two years at Oakcrest, we advanced to the NJSIAA Group IV Finals in 2010, and appeared in the playoffs in 2011.

In 2012, I transfered to Cedar Creek High School.  I moved from coaching to officiating and currently am an assitant golf coach.

Prior to teaching, I attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA where I was a member of the football team.  I transfered to ACCC, and then to the Richard Stockton College of NJ where I majored in Biology and earned a minor in Marine Science.  I later attended Jersey City University's graduated studies program in which I earned my Special Education Certificate.
