This class will consider both the literary and literal construction of the adventure narrative. The class readings challenge a unified concept of adventure writing beginning with Ancient greece, moving to Medieval Literature, and then to 20 and 21st Century. Enter a world of magic and imagination as we dive deep into the minds of various fictional characters of Medieval, Modern and Science Fiction Literature.
