Hello and WELCOME to the Culinary Program. I am looking forward to a wonderful 2020-2021 school year.
I believe that every child should know the basics in cooking and food safety. These are tools that will help them for their entire life and I take such pride in teaching students these skills.

Culinary Arts is a course designed as an elective for co-ed high school students, grades 9-12. The
course focuses specifically on sanitation, safety, weights and measures, food preparation, technology,
consumerism, and nutrition. Course content involves the basic concepts of food preparation, meal
planning, shopping, basic skills instruction and critical thinking skills as per the GEHRHSD’s articulation
agreement with Atlantic Cape Community College
