CHRIS MONROE : DISTANCE LEARNING TECHNICIAN

Chris Monroe is the Distance Learning Technician for Oakcrest High School. Chris is responsible for providing the faculty members with various distance learning opportunities. Chris works closely with the faculty members to make sure they use the lab and get the most out of every experience. Chris has also expanded his role to assist with the technology department. He has been able to provide a first level of support and to assist in setting up computers.

Chris graduated from Mainland Regional High School and went on to get his degree in communications from Rowan University. Chris is involved in many professional organizations including:

*Oakcrest High School Technology Committee
*Oakcrest High School Professional Development Committee
*Board Advisor for the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC)
*Liaison for the Garden State Distance Learning Consortium
*Member and Advisor for the Oakcrest Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
*Member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA)

Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, going to church, watching movies and cheering for all Philly sports teams.
