The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District (Absegami & Oakcrest High Schools) has fully implemented ParentCONNECT for the 2006/2007 school year. ParentCONNECT software is a convenient home-to-school collaboration tool that allows parents/guardians to keep track of their childrens' academic progress online via an easy-to-use web site. Parents/guardians may visit the password-protected site to view school program announcements as well as their students' schedules, quarter grades, daily attendance, course history, and discipline.
Parents/guardians can also easily communicate with teachers via e-mail or receive automatic e-mail notification of tardies, absences, discipline records, or failing grades. They can view their child's student information through the ParentCONNECT web site after they have registered with the school and received a user ID and password. To maintain the integrity of student data, the ParentCONNECT application is a "read-only" system.
